About these puzzles
AP Explores Games is two free daily travel puzzles built from 3,026 airports and 30,496 real direct routes.
What is Blackout Flight?
A daily geography puzzle: the plane's window shades are down and you work out where a real flight is going from cabin clues such as heading, flight time, landing time, currency and which side of the road cars drive on. Five flights a day, 45 seconds per move.
What is Hub Hop Golf?
A daily routing puzzle scored like golf: connect two airports using real direct flights in as few legs as possible. Par is the obvious route through big hubs; a sharper connection scores a birdie (−1) or better. Five holes a day.
Are the flights real?
Yes. Routes come from each airport's Wikipedia "Airlines and destinations" table and are refreshed weekly. No clue is written by hand or by AI.
Is it free?
Yes. It runs in the browser with no account and no download.
Can I make a puzzle from my own trip?
Yes. "Guess my flight" turns a real flight you're taking into a Blackout puzzle and gives you a link to send to friends.
